hey guys
my gouilden finch has been losing some feathers at the bottom of its back and behind its legs im not sure why.i took it out of the aviary and put it in a cage for now so i can keep an i on it. hope u can help

Only feather loss I've experienced was with out of date Ivamectin in mineral oil. The birds stayed bald at the point of application for the entire season and has only just regained her feathering. I hope your problem is temporary too.

it looks healthy are what other birds are with your gouldians??

quails have the feather loss because its the males mating with the females and pulling out the feahters or the males fighting but the gouldian umm i will reaseach up some of causes and get back to u thanks toddles
