The door on my catching cage/feed station became dislodged during the storm we had this afternoon. I am kicking myself that I didn't have it properly secured.
Any way one of the young gouldians managed to get it's head caught between the door and the cage. It was still alive when I found it and still had a little get up and go in it, however it appears to have no head control (possible broken neck), however isn't showing any paralysis. I have got some spark into it.
How long should I give it before I put it out of its misery?
Cheers Ian

That's terrible mate, it's a horrible feeling. Hopefully it never happens again.

You did what you thought was right for it.
