I found cubans will nest any time of the year and if it is cooler weather or not they will stuff their nest with so many feathers they are very well insulated.Also you may not think they are nesting as you will see them out when viewing your birds as the non sitting bird utters a call which sends the sitting bird out of the nest just before you approach the aviary.
