Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone can tell me what the main differences are between Virkon S and F10SC is?
Can they be substituted for each other for cleaning and disinfecting, and are you able to sproat seed with F10SC?
Gut feeling is leaning towards the Virkon S, but I have a ready (and free) supply of the F10SC?
Cheers,
Tim

Tim,
Just looked at the blurb about the F10SC from the manufacturer. Not much information about if it is ingested. Described as a Vet Disinfectant. Think I will stay with Virkon because it has never failed me. I do a fair bit of flyfishing and when returning from overseas when you tell quarantine that you have washed your gear in Virkon S and the gear is dry you go straight through because that is the standard.
Just my thoughts.

Hi Stu,
Now why didn't I think to search the Forum for the answers...
That link was handy, thanks mate, but now I'm back to square one, are they comparable? I assume the answer is yes?
I think I will have to get some F10 from the wife and give it a go... I notice there is now one available with a surficant which would be handy.
Cheers
Tim
