Dear All,
I have an aviary with RFPF breeding, young in the nest and noticed today that some of the adults have air sac mite. I have Moxi but do not want to put in the water as it will kill the young when fed. Am I able to dilute some of the Moxi and apply as I would if I had some Scatt? What I'm after is a way to treat the adults without compromising the young. Would really appreciate some quick advise as I don't want the bas..ards spreading !!!
Thanks, Deegs.

Deegs, moxidecton won't affect the young, infact it will help them because they will have them as well. In the water should be fine plus/or catch them up and apply one drop to the back of the neck and one drop on the bare skin under the wing. It would be in your interest to spray the whole aviary including perches with coopex as well on a warm day. Good luck. Craig
