I am just getting into breeding this last two years,
One of my chicks, now about 14 months old and colored up nicely has a scissor beak,

What do beeders do with them, I cant breed him, I cant sell him,
I have not tried the petshop yet but I suspect they will reject him, although he is a nice red head.

No doubt some would euthanise, I would never, i heard you can file the beak but mine is easily 1-2mm out at the end so seems impossible that i oculd fix by filing daily without eventually hurtinghim.

He is feeding fine, do I just need to have a separate cage so he can live out his life without breeding? even that is cruel.

Carefully trimming with nail clippers or nail scissors could help him better than filing.
