Hi,
One of my gouldian hens has developed a deformity.
She has been with me for about 18 months, and she was ok. But a few days ago I noted like a hump on her back, and now it is very obvious.
Any advice?

Looks like a possible ruptured Air sac
If it is, a vet will have to drain the air out and the bird will have to be confined to smaller living quarters

Find a bird vet and take her there for a check up.

Anything that grows that fast is usually very bad so the sooner it is checked by a qualified bird vet, the better.
I specify bird vet because they have training in bird diseases and the bird has a much better chance of survival compared to going to a normal vet that isn't a specialised bird vet.

Ruptured air sacs can occur through some sort of trauma, like possibly they hit the cage too hard

I am 95% sure thats the problem, pick up the Gouldian and feel if the lump is light and full of air
