Hunchback hen

Hi,

I want to tell you how things have evolved. I put the hen in a small cage by herself, and she has been behaving normal. She eats well, she is active.

But she doesn´t look well. Her deformity is worse.

I don´t care as long as she is not suffering, what seems to be the case, but I don´t know if you have any advice to give me.

I don´t trust the vet that supposedly knows about birds in my city.

I will try to post pictures.

Definately odd. Hope one of the vets on here sees this post and chimes in.

I'm not a Vet but to me she looks to have fatty cysts or worse still a type of non malignant type cancer of which it could/ can live with quite happily if you're happy to see the bird live with. Imo, do not breed from it as it may pass the condition on.
I very much doubt that there would be a cheap or permanent fix but if the bird starts to suffer it maybe better to euthanize it which sounds harsh i know.
Good luck

Thank you.
Since two or three days ago, she doesn´t seem so well as she used to be. And her deformity is getting worse. But she is relatively well, eating and moving.

Possible ruptured air sac maybe?
