Sorry for the delay getting back to you - been camping with the kids for a couple of days near the beach.
I dilute moxydectin+ at 5ml/litre & give it for 3 days. Just finished a dose of it & back to some ACV for a couple of days. Looks like good timing as we are getting some hot weather here this week (40 degrees forecast for tomorrow).

After reading posts and talking to Marcus at Clifton finch aviaries and reading his brilliant article on worming I am now using invermectin avimec by veta farm due to cost and size of bottle and diluting with alcohol 20:1 and 2 drops on the bird not the dose of undiluted mixture of 2 drops for birds under 30 grams as per pdf so it works out to 1000 mls 20 drops to a ml so loads of doses

Imo, you are getting a little obsessed. Three posts back Tiaris mentioned what he and every one else does. Marcus's writings are way out of date with the use of alcohol when back then we were using animal stock wormers eg cattle, pig and sheep wormers, these days water is the norm for mixing.
These days moxidecton plus is all you need which is available from the merchandise here in AFF.
Moxidecton plus treats airsac mites and most worms including tape worms. The dosage rate is 5ml to one litre of water given as their drinking water for three days for worms and airsac mites for the whole flock. If you have only a few birds you can place two drops undiluted on the bare skin on the back of the neck, lift the feathers to access the bare skin OR place one drop on the bare skin under the wing pit of both wings. The birds will preen that area and will ingest some that wont effect them as the dosage is very safe WITH ADULT BIRDS, there is no need to dose healthy young birds.
I'm sure you can buy a smaller amount from here but the shelf life of moxidecton plus can be more than double if kept in the refrigerator and shaken well before use. Craig

That is true and Danny is a member here but to help keep our forum running we need to sell AFF merchandise to our members. Also you will find we are very competitive with our prices.
