Beetroot leaves edible?

As the title suggests my enquiry is to the edibility of the leaves of a Beetroot plant for my finches, any ideas???

They are not toxic if that's what you mean. Just depends if they want to eat them. It certainly would be worth a try if the leaves are fresh & clean.
