I noticed that red panicum was the main seed in my mix that wasn't kicked out. I purchased some and have found that provided by itself, it is the seed that my mixed aviary birds consume the most. I have to re-fill almost every day while the mixed seed now lasts much much longer.
Has anyone else found this to be the case?
Could this restrictive diet cause issues?

RP is the most popular/palatable seed with most foreign waxbills.

My Gouldians show it as a favourite as well.
