Here is another one which seems to be updated from time to time http://www.birdsevolutionpro.com/ and it's about $71 dependant on the current value of the Euro.

Cheers,

Kintraks is another one that a lot of animal breeders use, I was using it for my rats but found the good old trusty paper and pencil much easier to remember to use, I found having to enter all the data a bit of a pain.

Yes that is Birdrec from http://users.tpg.com.au/users/kyorke/p20.htm and I think it would be my # 1 choice given the option. He also has another program called AVIAN GENETIC CALCULATOR which could be kind of handy also.

Hi,

I have started giving Kintraks a go. It is free for the first 60 entries, and then it costs only $20 AUD to unlock it after. Also I like it because there is a Mac version (and Linux).
I have yet to use it to its potential but looks quite OK (probably all that I would need) and the free 60 entries at full functionality lets you work it out for a while.

Cheers.

A facility that allows you to record no of eggs laid, no hatched. Sex of young would be an asset in considering fertility. And sex ratio. So you could make sure your fertility is not dropping and you are breeding from both female and male producers to supply unrelated pairs.

That was what I liked about Kintraks it allowed you to customise it for whatever you wanted to record (in my case with rats I had the genetics and carried genes listed which was very usueful) I have tried the others as I'm just too slack with updating the computer and found pen and paper my preferred option .
