selling box

Does anyone have plans or photos for selling boxes.I am thinking of a three to four story one with either six or eight compartments.and will need to make two of.for up and coming sale.

understand what your after, no plans or pics though. the size of each section would depend upon how many birds you plan to hold in them

have got code off ethics for sizing.will put no more then 6 per compartment.

may be taking 60 or so birds to sell rough guess could be more. have about six weeks to make it.

Have a few old selling boxes.want some fresh ideas before posting my photos.

hey gomer are you planing on putting some rubber on the doors slices in helps to close the gaps when trying to catch a bird in the box especially with finches

I had rubber on some older selling boxes.But know use socks made from like cheese cloth.I find it better then rubber.

this is one i made several years ago compartments are a good size,doors no good.

This is one i have been using in recent years,is to big and heavy,compartments to big to catch them,sock is good,doors still need improving.

have seen some years ago that hinged in the middle to shut like a suitcase.as birds are not allowed to be on show untill ten minutes before sales starts.
need to improve design and doors.
they both have slide to fill in front.

while I think they look great. I understand the need to tweek & adjust, no matter how good something is that we have made all we ever see are the little faults that seem to escape other people
