How long should small finch’s like orange breasts be wormed for with moxi plus

The instruction on my bottle says 1:200 (5ml Moxi to 1000ml water) for a period of 24 hours. All of my birds, excluding Gouldians but including OBs, receive this dose. I have extended that period to get rid of a stubborn case of Scaley Face Mite in Ruddies, without any adverse affects …. but that is not a recommendation.

Thanks I’ve been told that I should do it for 3 days but seems excessive for tiny birds

I've seen and followed recommendations for a follow-up dose two weeks after the first to break the worm egg cycle. It seems like a sound practice.

I use it for 2 days with a follow up 16 days later.
