Hey forum users does anyone know why the hen song sparrow goes from pale lemon body colour too a dark brownish but doesn't look like there in a moult ?

Are sure it's a hen
The hens I have really don't change much at all.
Cockbirds tend to fade in the yellow coloured body and wings tend to be less dark brown.
the main difference is in their beak in winter time bone coloured, breeding season black

Thanx Orix pretty sure bought 2 pair flying same aviary one pair went to nest hatched one youngster but fledged too early lost it ATM there's huge colour difference try and get pic to show .
