Far more likely it will create a perfect ambush site for cats but that's a whole other topic.
And believe you me, would get lots of discussion, as it has in the past. All birds have their favourite seed that they eat first. Just like kids, but if you leave it they will then eat a better mix. However never leave it too long that the silly things starve themselves because the single seed left is one they just cant/wont eat.
