All of the upcoming bird sales listed in last month's AFF newsletter (Central Coast Avicultural Society Inc 2020 Bird Sale, Gold Coast Bird Sale, Gunnedah Bird Sale and Expo, Annual Gawler Bird Sale, and Cairns Bird Expo 2020) have been cancelled.

Some places where smaller groups 20/50 likely to attend cancelling while some places where bigger groups 200/500 likely to attend not cancelling. Depends a lot on the organising group. Stay safe.

Finches '20 just got postponed until July 2021.

Better safe than sorry in view of how fast this thing is growing.

Yeah, a wave of relief washed over me when I read that it was postponed instead of cancelled.

had a phone call yesterday from the coordinator of the geelong bird sale,she informed me that all bird sales are now cancelled until at least june,the geelong sale may take place in September,cheers garyh

With "social distancing" it would be almost impossible to conduct any sales. So life will go on hold for the next 3/6/9 months?

QFS has cancelled everything until June, meetings, sales, aviary visits and all.

I'm doing a favor for my Local club (Downs Bird Breeders Association), even though I am a committee member I'm not attending the meetings to prevent any of the older blokes getting anything just in case
