Can I attract the hummingbirds in the presence of finches?

I love to attract the beautiful small hummingbirds in my backyard. I am planning to use the hummingbird feeders to attract these birds. But I am also little confuse as there are many finches are also present in my garden. Any one there who can help me? Can I attract the hummingbirds in the presence of finches?

If you have flowers or feeders that represent flowers, then the hummingbirds will use them even with native finches in the area. If you have cats, dogs, or raptors (birds of prey) around your house, the hummingbirds will be stressed and while they might come to drink, they won't stick around.
