Feathers

once or twice a year I get the other half to get me a pillow from from spotlight or some shop like it. I always make sure to microwave the feathers for a minute or two on high to ensure that there are no mites or other unwanted pests.

just spoke with 'FEATHER YOUR NEST" they use sanitised feathers to make pillows doonas etc, picking up some in toowoomba on monday, she just ran out of loose feathers but said its a little cheaper to buy the pillow

ever tried emu feathers. my birds go nuts over them, i get them from a member of the finch society over here who sells all kind of stuff , or any good pet shop should have them, but the pillow idea is great, somehow i dont think the other half would let me do it...pete

$14 was about the cheapest from spotlight enough feathers to keep me going for a while
