can anyone help me by putting up links to sites where you can obtain a permit/license to keep birds?

I know in SA you get it from the department for Enviroment

hey greg, whats the cost of rec licenses now, do they still call them rec license, i had a specialist license last, but that was a few yrs ago now, wasnt real happy with QNPWS, do they still control the permits, they didnt know their ass from their face, especially when mutations were involved (parrots) things have prob changed since then.
what if any of the OZ finches are off permit, other than goulds and zebs?

Hi Pete, NPWS don't control it now it is controled by environmental protection agency ( EPA ) which are a lot better now A Rec lic now is $58 and i am on a Restricted lic which is $175, as for whats is on permit or off i have no idea, i should contact them and get a list.

Sorry Pete thats for 5 years, ithink you can have any finch on the Rec lic, i have a Restricted because i use to have ekkies and gang gangs.
