I don't have any mice in my aviaries, I would like to stop em first, but do have a couple in the shed.
I have put down ratsak and the bloody things eat it like lollies.

Anybody used a good bait that will put a stop to their treats run?

It might not be the mice or rats that are eating the poison. I walked in the shed late evening one time and saw cockroaches feeding off the mouse trap I had set up. It was a snap trap set up with chocolate.... b....y waste of chocolate if goes in a mouse or insect!

Maybe its just taking a little longer to work. At least you know its getting eaten. Just a thought, does Ratsak have a use by date?

It can take a while to kill them , some of them actually just slow down then die ....Ive had mice eat ratsack baits for weeks , they got to the point where you could catch them with a net or hand they were so sick.

I concur with everythin Pete just said. We alternate Ratsack and Talon. And small mice and large roaches poop about the same size. Bit of trivia - Australia has the larges range of roaches size and types of any country in the world.

Dad has used the mashed potato mix i think known as DEB, apparently they eat it, it swells up inside and die as it expands!
