Enjoy it Jayburd.

One of the things you will notice is the difference in some of the species covered.
Some have disappeared and others have appeared in the time interval between the first and third book.

What prices does the black book fetch? I have hardly ever seen it for sale. However I just bought a 13 book lot overseas including the black one for $100. Unfortunately shipping 7kg of books cost almost as much again. I've also been looking for the green one but been told the current red one contains same info and more. Would that be correct? I suppose some collectors just want the entire set?
Thanks Winston

This was the second time I'd ever seen the black one for sale. The last time it was $400, also on gumtree.
I think the green book is the best of the three. The pictures may not be as super-fantastic as the red one, but it sure is easier to handle!

Thanks for the reply and review. I have a friend with the green book so perhaps we will just swap and share since I can't source one. Will have to get the red one while its still in print.
