Simple - FB sends you an email every time a new ad gets posted so you don't log in 6 days later and say 'Bugger, wish I'd seen that 6 days ago". It also reaches people that avoid forums.arthur wrote:Uraeginthus wrote:Bloody hell !!!!

Well for a start Danny,i log onto AFF every day and if someone wants to pm me i get an email as well and if people want to avoid forums, they can go to FB to learn nothing as this is the place to be.I'm into my sixties and i can't handle other tech stuff, sorry to be so harsh. I come to both AFF and FB and a dozen other forums 5-6 times a day . What's your point - they aren't mutually exclusive. You don't go to an ADVERTISING site to learn things. It states very clearly that it is NOT A FORUM. At least 30 of the people subscribed to the page are not on AFF. This provides a service for them. It was set up because searching for a finch ad on Petlink just sucks. You are welcome to keep wading through parrot ads.crocnshas wrote:Well for a start Danny,i log onto AFF every day and if someone wants to pm me i get an email as well and if people want to avoid forums, they can go to FB to learn nothing as this is the place to be.I'm into my sixties and i can't handle other tech stuff, sorry to be so harsh.
