Depending on what size aviary they should be fine. Scarlets can be a bit nosy though with finch nests and any greenery in your aviary. Craig

Just a thought, you have a happy flock of chickens all happily laying eggs for you, then you decide to put an Ostrich
in with your chickens. What would happen.
The same applies to you Finches , personal opinion not a good idea.

OK for a "display only" aviary but suboptimal for a breeding aviary...unless it is really large and you choose robust finch species.
Perhaps you should decide on one or the other and go with your preference, or have dedicated separate aviaries.
