I'd honestly say that with the advanced technology over the last few years the sexing of monomorphic birds via DNA samples is now definitely the way forward, it's now made a massive impact of bird breeding as a whole because it dosen't have to be loads of birds being wrongly paired up and time waisted throughout a whole breeding season,
