WELCOME to the AFF, Azar.
The European Goldfinch is freely available at most bird sales, some dealers and a few pet shops. Be aware that most of the birds offered are 'wild caught' and as such can be skittish and unsettled in all but the largest of aviaries. These birds can take a long time to settle and breed, but there are exceptions to this generalization. I have heard of a pied mutation but have never seen one. More mutations and variations are available in Europe. The 'wild caught' birds exchange hands for around $10 ea. but aviary bred birds are two to three times that price.
