I suppose that with the breeding of good specimens of blue gouldians in Southern Victoria that it was crossed into Australian Dilutes a few years back which is probably why Northerners haven't heard or seen it.
It is the same as crossing Euro yellows with blues to produce pastels/silvers etc as it is with the Australian yellow blue which is virtually a white bird with a few blue/grey streaks in its back. Craig

I just pulled them from my 2011 folder. I was breeding a few AD back then with blues so they most likely were that combo . Just after taking the photos I disposed of the birds and started working my way back to blues with black heads only purple breasts.I was not interested on working on them.
