Someone is advertising them for Sale on Gumtree WA. So if anyone is interested, sounds like there is a project there for you. I have no more room, until I can talk hubby into buying the block over the back.

On the other hand, in Vietnam, there were 100s of Spice Finches being sold on the streets in pop up 'pet stores', with other animals including fish, frogs and mini turtles.

In Qld, the Spice Finch and Chestnut Breasted Finch are virtually "niche species" . . same habitat/ same habits

And, since neither is found naturally in the wild in S.A . .

If logic were applied . . sadly, seldom the case with bureaucracies . . both species would belong in the same category :silent:
