This is pretty simple; just everyone's favourite finches and WHY?

I'll start: Blue Faced Parrot Finch because it's a nice bird for beginners that have already 'mastered' the Zebra Finch and is fairly easy to keep and breed.

Aberdeens, Green Strawbs, the 2 Twinspots, Black Rumped Double Bars, Red Strawbs, Red Siskins, Purple Grenadiers, Orange cheeks, Senegals, Pintailed Parrotfinches and yes I do have expensive taste :wtf:
And I do not have much reasoning, they just intrigue me and would be an absolute pleasure to breed and own

I mean, I only have 4 species so far due to space; on the other hand my friend has, like, 36 species in one aviary and they all breed in harmony. He doesn't mind about space.

His aviary? Well, he doesn't keep track of the breeding, so there are probably multiple pairs of each, especially zebbies, orange breasts, bengalese, cut throats and gouldians. The aviary is a mix of two suspended aviaries and an in-ground aviary. Just estimating, probably 3x3 for the in-ground aviary and about 3x1 for the suspended aviary.

Thats a fair bit of overstocking, what species does he have in there if you are allowed to say so?

Sounds like he has a very good mix, and well done for keeping the 'rarities' on the hush hush  , i think he/she would appreciate that

I'm very surprised that his zebbies and cut throats don't be aggressive towards the other finches. I saw 3 orange breast hens on nests right next to one of 6 cut throats and a colony of zebbies.
