yup and a goldfinch x yellow siskin hybrid as well. its easy like canary the nest just needs cover.

My yellow is male is always attacking the hen . Is that normal or should I separate them

Might be an idea to buy another hen so you have a trio (2 hens 1 cock), this takes a lot of stress away from the single hen birds and the cock usually calms down

Males will chase hens mercilessly until the hen gives up,rarely will they hurt their hen.This is just the way Siskin's do it.Be very careful about introducing a new hen,especially if the other pair are bonded as the old hen may kill the new hen.I have had this happen and it is not nice.

I got the two hens together with a split cage for 3 days till I put them together. Should I put them all together or just one hen ?Image

Never had them, so my only comment is a general one that applies to all cup nesting trios. Put in 3 nests as widely spaced apart as possible, so both ladies get a choice, and dont have to sit too close together.
