G'day everyone
Thought I might just make a topic for when the forum is a bit quiet
Please no big political discussions and debates, just a good regular convo about our birds, whats happening and anything unusual in our collections
Cheers

To start..........

Javan Munias here at home are coming back into the breeding season, making nests all over the place, some with no real purpose
Ruddies, OBs, Black Rumped DB's and Parrots have all gone down to nest
Red Strawbs are starting to attempt building their first nests
Aberdeen cock won't stop crowing and making nests, gotta get the poor bugger a lady soon

Cheers

Great idea Noah! The gouldians are making another nest since they got put off by the rain; the quails have 6+ eggs that they're sitting on, the Orange Breasts started building a nest yesterday and the Stars were at it this morning.

Thanks
Aidan

Thanks! I'll probably upload another one this weekend, either an informational video on big mistakes in aviculture, a video on finch diets or an aviary update showcasing the birds. Really depends what I decide then. I have made other videos since the first one though, but beware the outro on some of them is very loud (I didn't realize before too late!!!)

This is a great idea for when people don't have much to say. Although that's happening less often these days, the average daily posts metric is the highest it's been in five years.

Sounds like you guys are having a lot of success, now that the weather has leveled off a bit. My Gouldians have made a great start to their season—almost can't get the nesting material to them fast enough.

Thought it may be a good idea, considering exactly what you have said
Great about the Gouldians Shane! How many pairs and what mutations are getting down to breeding?
Cheers
