Something I thought needs to be made public

I saw a sneak peak of ABK today and saw that young fella Aidan won the Syd Smith Memorial young bird keepers competition like I did
I think he deserves a Big congratulations, it is well deserved and I can guarantee him, like what happened with myself, and heap more opportunities are coming his way

Top stuff mate, it is very well deserved for such a keen young bloke like yourself

Cheers
Noah

Thanks for the congratulations Noah , what you've said above means a lot to me! Even I was quite blown away when I got the email saying I won! By the way, the article is a bit outdated and I wrote it before I got my new aviary and a lot of my birds (it was written in November 2019).

Just a breeding update by the way, the Plumheads are putting some feathers and grasses in one of the brush cylinders (a possible nest, don't want to interfere though), the Cubans are almost done building and the Gouldians and Orange-Breasts are working on nests. The quails have recently fledged 1 (he hatched a day before the others and they decided to take care of him instead of incubate the rest) and are currently on 2 nests.

Congratualtions on the award, and on the finches. My quail regularly do the wander off with one or 2 chicks thing too.
