I think the only good thing they clean up the floor, the bad thing about them is they take flight at night and scare the crap out of the birds as they crash into the tin.

thats why i dont keep them.they eat all the live food in the aviary.And when startled at night scare the birds.Matt wrote:I just offloaded the last of my quail. Like Mick's, they bred like crazy and found it hard to offload them. Got sick of them waking me at night with their loud calls so they had to go. I am sure quail don't help in breeding success with finches either.
