Yellow back goudian finches

Hi has anyone bred yellow backed gouldian with normals what would be the results ?
Would they be splits or 50% yellow and 50% normals ?

Euro split aus yellow is the babies , the hen is a aus yellow.

Aust. Yellow to Normal = Split Aust. Yellow offspring with normal appearance.
Euro Yellow to Normal will give differing results dependent on which of the pairing (cock or hen ) is Euro Yellow or normal.

Don't understand this statement 'Euro split aus yellow is the babies'.

Gympie do you mean that hen parent is Aussie yellow and cock parent is Euro yellow? And you are asking about putting the offspring of this combo to normals?

Yes the hen is aus yellow and the male is euro yellow

Firstly - it is strongly recommended that Aust and Euro yellows should never be crossed. But lots of us did it the first time we came accross them, usually because we did not understand that they were a completely different mutation. So recommend not to do this again.
Australian Yellow is recessive so all young from an Aust Yellow will be split Aust Yellow.
