I freeze my soft mix.

Required daily portions of sprouted seeds, veg, commecial egg food (dry) are place in ziplock bags. I make enough for 2 months or so and I feed 1 packet out daily.
I just pull one bag from the freezer the night before and let it defrost in the fridge. The dry egg food absorbs any defrosting moisture and its ready to go to the bowls in the morning.
I've not had any hassles with doing it this way and have been doing so for the last couple years. Freezing obviously kills the germinated seed, but I don't think it changes the nutritional value it had prior to freezing. Makes me wonder.

I freeze my virkon s stuff, can't see why it would be different with bleach.
It would last months id imagine, I make up a batch every Sunday.

G'day CC, yes totally ok to freeze sprouted seed. Like the previous repsonses we make up our daily portions of our special blend (green seed, sprouted seed and finch cake) and freeze it. Make about 2 months supply at a time. Bleach verkon etc it desnt matter, freeze it in what is handy and convenient for the size your doing on a daily feed. We fiind clip lock bags in the snack size suitable for our sized collection. Technically if it is proctected from freezer burn it will be Ok for 6-12 months. Work smarter not harder and make finch life easy for yourself.
Cheers
