Finally can anyone suggest an online or sydney retailer that sells finch leg bands apart from ebay? ACtauully i am a member of the finch society - i suppose they mite-?? anyone know-maybe i should just contact them-silly me.

Hi again, i am interested to know what size legbands i should use for Orange breasted' -i can buy a whole like 300 2.4-2.5 legbands from ebay for only like $15 but apparently this size is not suitable. The seler tells me he has 2.3mm legbands but i dont know if they are suitable either. Also can readers advise which finches should be wearing the smaller ones? I have ruddies, cordons, parrot finches, orange breasted, gouldians and stars at the moment.
