Hello All,

I was just interested, I remembered seeing them at Berkshire Park Bird Farm many many years ago...No, I don't want them, they may get out & attack my bonsai's.

Cheers,

Absolutely,

I was at class on Monday night & I thought I was doing thing when I was working on a conifer.....I took all the growth from where the trunk & branches meet...I was told you may be lucky, but it will take approx five years before the tree will recover...I thought I was laying the foundation to make clouds..D'oh!

Fortunately, I have the time..

Tintola, I would mind catching up one day, to talk about, obviously not only birds, but pick your brain about bonsai.

Cheers

The Hotel I use when I am in Bali has a colony of Palm Squirrels on their grounds and I find them most amusing to watch.
They are very clever and adaptable. Actually they are quite common over there.
I generally have the same Bungalo Room which is well away from the front and quiet and the Squirrels will come right down
if food is placed on a low tree branch.
As for them here,I haven't seen them for awhile but there were a few keeping them and they seemed to be free breeders.

I think that the squirrels there are Three-striped Ground-Squirrels, as Palm squirrels are endemic to the Indian Subcontinent.

But yeah, I've seen them (similar) in Thailand, and they are fantastic to watch!
