Far I know deb they aren't here yet. There are probably alot of people trying and they have succeed they are keeping it quiet and probably trying to get a few young before even announcing it. I would also bet that the young would he of a year or two to make sure the cheeks don't moult out and even if the chicks produce this trait in young. As jay said maybe others could confirm this better than I.

They're cool little birds- my partner saw me looking at them, and asked if we could get some at the Mornington Bird Sale! He was very disappointed when I said that they aren't an established mutation here.

I agree DB,those others look newspaper birds or starting to look like doublebars, don't get me wrong i like doublebars but come on black and white zebs

Deb as far as anyone knows there are none in Australia , will you be going to the Orana Show on the 3rd June i will be there and it would be good to catch up .
