Some of the local stubble Quails that live around my place . There was 16 in this flock ( not all in photo )

How good is that? Maybe they got wind of the new legislation regarding Duck and Quail seasons which will come into vogue soon in NSW. They might be checking out somewhere safe. :lol: Keep them safe. If I want quail I'll go to the poultry shop across the road.

Look like Brown Quail to me,there's noway stubble quail would be that confiding.

Ok looks like I got brown quail by consensus :lol: :lol: . It’s good to have them around . :thumbup:

Dunno? Look like the standard Stubble quail I get here in the paddocks in the groups of 8 to 15

Brown Quail for me too, lovely birds, I've never seen them that confidingly!
