Some of the local stubble Quails that live around my place . There was 16 in this flock ( not all in photo )

How good is that? Maybe they got wind of the new legislation regarding Duck and Quail seasons which will come into vogue soon in NSW. They might be checking out somewhere safe. Keep them safe. If I want quail I'll go to the poultry shop across the road.

Ok looks like I got brown quail by consensus . It’s good to have them around .

Brown Quail for me too, lovely birds, I've never seen them that confidingly!
