Hi all,

Just wondering where I can get some decent brush in the Wollongong area?

I know where there is a mountain of tea tree near the beach but council would have me for vandalism should I cut it.

Does anyone approach council for permission to cut brush in the gong? Or are there any areas where brush is plentiful and secluded?

Alternatively does anyone need a tea tree in their yard severely trimmed ?

ATM I resort to lurking around the base of Mt Ousley and feel like a criminal doing so.

Thanks for your help

Not sure if it is legal, but Darkes forest is good hunting ground, although it is well trimmed as i think most finch keepers in the area hit it.

Make sure whatever you cut you take, dont dump off cuts, and also collect some already dropped gum branches, its great for perching and also helps clean up the roadside abit.

Just be polite to the locals, smile and wave

Cheers
