Hi guys and gals , Today I had an add on gumtree banned because I used the word pigeon in my add, It was the words DNA sexed that I thought it maybe , Has anyone else had similar experiences like this or have any idea as to why the word pigeon .
I used the wording Bleeding Heart pigeon, so I am awaiting a response from gumtree... pete

You sure it was the word pigeon? Not the words Bleeding Heart? (can be seen as derogatory in wrong context) If so weird.

I can had a similar word banned on Gumtree once , Refering to a "Cock " Gouldian and had to change it to Male !!
The word sexed probably was the problem ??

I replied the first time with why was it DNA sexed the issue. The reply from that I get was the word pigeon was the culprit, now I have asked whay that word. still no reply as to yet.. personally I think its the pic that some idiot has been upset by.... pete

Who knows? Gumtree annoys me so much sometimes! I was selling tickets to a show that I could no longer make it to, and the tickets were ezy-tickets (the ones they e-mail to you) and the ad was taken down because I said that I could either print the tickets or e-mail them! Apparently, you're not allowed to offer to e-mail tickets! Ridiculous!
A friend of mine had her ad taken down when she was looking for a new home for her dog, as she didn't specifically say that the dog had been vet-checked. I would have thought that providing vaccination, desexing and microchip details would suffice since they mean the dog has been vet-checked, but apparently not.
