Blue King Quail?

From my youth in Adelaide we had always referred to the likes of the Grey (or Silver as I see on this forum) Kink Quail as a "Blue King Quail"

Has anyone heard this?

As well are there any other species of finch ore otherwise that develop a Light (or Dark) Grey (only black type pigments) mutation that have been called a Blue Mutation for terminology?

The problem with that name is that the normal king quail actually is blue in colour so the term became confusing ( a blue mutation of a blue coloured bird vs silver) and lost favour .

Ok well that sounds fair enough.
So are some other brown type birds called Blue when the Mutation looses the Red/Brown and leaves the black pigments? Like Zebras or any other Australians?

Cockateils - If I'm not mistaken, the white faced mutation should be called blue but nobody does
