Double bar finch with orange breast finch?

A place to ask about Australian Finches in general.
For example: Questions about more than a single species.

I have a 1.5m x 1.8 x 1.8 m cage with a lone pair of Orange Breast finch. They were previously with gouldians which have multiplied and the Orange Breast finch seemed to be coming off second best so I built another cage for them.
I would like to keep some double bar (owl) finches if this is a good mix? Or alternatively some Ruddies or perhaps all three species?

I have done some internet searches but I am hoping for some knowledgeable experience from fellow members.

Thanks
Winston

Ruddies,Orange Breasts and Double Bars are all peaceful species so would be a good mix so pair of each would be fine together but 3 pair would the limit in that size cage.

I have a pair of Double Bars in with a pair of OB's. They seem to get along just fine.
