Hi Garry, nice report.
Looking at the fawn cock in the 2nd set of pics, at first sight I'd say some english egg has finally landed in Oz. Is it only the picture or the head was really so cracking in the flesh?
ciao

Thats a shame, I knew the club had folded through a lack of willing people to take on key roles but I thought that this show might have been their last hurrah.nswchainsaw wrote:Sorry to tell you but ZFSA is Zebra Finch Society of Australia which is NSW not South Australia unfortunately they could not get on together and folded .
Garry
Congratulations to the winners

No eggs , we have some good breeders in Aus that have been working hard to improve the type of our Zebras .Dimar wrote:Hi Garry, nice report.

Zebman how did your Pied hen go , for those that don't know the Pied was in first place when she injured her leg and had to be removed from the Judging.

Was lovely to meet you Garry. Shame we didn't have a chance to catch up with zebman too!
And we didn't get to make it to the auction on the Sunday
After being told we had a 'silver' cock, I think it would turn out that he is more a dilute blue!

Hi Gary, the pied is recovering putting more weight on her leg, don't think it was broken maybe just badly bruised she can't grip the perch properly with her foot, don't think she will a show bird just a breeder from now on.
