Hello Daniela, always good to have some more Perth people on the forum.
In case you are not aware, there are also some bird clubs in Perth (WA Finch Soc and Avi Soc WA) if you want to extend your bird contacts.
This is an excellent forum, and I have always found the members helpful and instructive.
