I have a pair of rubies and the cock has suddenly vanished.
After doing a bit of reading Ive learnt that the cock sits on the nest early morning and through the day, how likely am I to see him during this time.
I havent seen him for a few days so is it possible that he is sitting in a hidden nest somewhere or somehow escaped.

Anything is "possible" Robbo, but fingers crossed he is sitting. Good luck!

Robbo,if i was you,i would get in and see if i could flush him out, regardless of wether you think he is sitting as he will go back to incubating anyhow but by what you are saying i think he's come to a sticky end. CraigJ_Robbo wrote:I have a pair of rubies and the cock has suddenly vanished.
