Yes normals are my interest as I have been reading articles about lovebirds and how majority of normals have mutation genes in them.
I have always orefered normals anyway. And I think that was the point of the threads preserving the normal gene pool and TCPF are on the At Risk list.

i keep normal goulds with longtails, red face PF's, painteds, orange breasts, cubans, cordons, have previously kept them with Diamonds, grenadier weavers, strawbs, redbrows, and many others. They and the king quail will be find with most finches.
Good on you for reading up and asking questions. Is the best way.
My normal Goulds are in demand especially when I tell folk they have never produced a single mutation. But sadly they often want them to put new blood through their mutations without risk of some unwanted mutation.
