Hello All,
All I can say is...
Finally I can get Toucans...I've spent over twenty years as an Investment Banker, so now I can spend my fortune! & make it all over again.....
I know they are advertised on Petlink, but I would like to bring new bloodlines into the country...I certainly would not like to inbreed the 'illegals' we have here!
Come on 2018!!!
When do we start booking places??
Cheers

I won't be holding my breath in anticipation either for a large number of insurmountable reasons. Bear in mind that even if finches are eventually given the nod, there are still existing criteria which have to be satisfied. These include that the species must already be verified as present in captivity in Australia. So open slather wish lists of never before seen species are never going to be considered.

Tiaris,i don't think that is quite right,it did say to help stop the smuggling of animals/birds into the country, which to me sounds like if these animal/birds are here, why would anybody want to smuggle more in other than to get new blood.I suppose it will all pan out in the long run but i wouldn't hold my breath,i could be pushing up daisies by then.
