:) i keep them in a fish tank haha na just kidding :) they are in a 2m x 1m x 1m. This houses two gouldian prs and 1x cuban pr. We are in the process of making 2x more larger aviarys as we only want to keep it maxed to the three pairs in the one atm.

We have a termite mound in our yard. They enjoy picking and scouraging through it all. they also love to roll around and pick from a tray that i have grown of their seed. I will ppst photos when i work out how, of them frolicking in it :)

Was just curious because you said you had two pairs of Gouldians, and if they had been in seperate cages that would be different to keeping them in an avairy. Where they tend to do best in single pairs or groups of 3 or more pairs. 2 pairs in an avairy have a tendancy to constantly be trying to decide who is the top dogs. Cubans are very chatty little birds aren't they, mine pair always seem to be talking to each other.

LOL its ok, just a weird sense of humour ;)

Ohhh ok, I wasn't aware of that. These lot seem to get on pretty well. There is a "big" male and they seem to just know he's the boss. I have had them for a month or so, they all get along well. I put them in the aviary together at the same time (they were also transported together) so perhaps that is why? who knows. They have the odd scuffle over a favourite perch spot but apart from that they will eat and mosey around peacefully. I put the Cubans in about 2 wks or so after (I was waiting for the little hen, she still had pin feathers when I first saw her when I was collecting the gouldians and decided I would get a pr of Cubans as-well).

I have a soft spot for my little Cuban hen. I change seed/waters on dusk as (before I had the Cubans) as the Gouldians would be quietening down for the night and they would just watch me and not fuss about. However my Cuban girl gets all excited and will come and hang around and chitter away to me, the cock is starting to follow suit now too.

Thank you. They are such a pleasure to own.. Kinda addictive. Love listening to them chipper away.... Had about 10 double bars and one wagtail sitting under/around their aviary this morning.
