I bought a pair of cut throats at the recent Geelong sales.
Hen died 2 days later of unknown causes.
for the last 2 days the cock has been sitting on and working on a nest I built within an old log
does anyone know why he may be doing this?

Cut throats like to make roosting nests to camp in each night.
